PREVIOUS PROJECTS:
BLOOM AND DRAMA QUEENS
I was lucky to be able to work as a staff writer for the TV shows Bloom and Drama Queens. Both shows were set in Colorado.
"BLOOM offered an innovative look at teenagers grappling with love and loss while living in the town of Tanglewood, Colorado."
"All about the performing arts students at Avalon Performing Arts Academy, Drama Queens was an independent television series that explored the young artist's life."
Both shows offered great characters dealing with some tough situations, plus a mystery in Bloom and plenty of drama in Drama Queens!
Trailers for both shows can be found on YouTube. The shows are currently no longer in production, but writing scenes for them was a great experience.
FOREST FOR THE TREES
I previously served as a contributing editor for the literary journal Forest for the Trees.
"Forest for the Trees is an annual print literary journal that features writing by today’s teens. We accept submissions in poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and art for inclusion in the journal." (ffttjournal.wordpress.com)
